Duties of Audit and Investigation Branch

• Co-ordinating Zonal Education offices and schools and replying to the audit quarries directed to the western provincial of Education by the Auditor Generals’ Department.
• Co-ordinating Zonal Education offices and schools and replying to audit quarries directed to provincial Department of Education by chief secretary of western province.
• Forwarding replies related to observations directed to provincial government audit committee.
• Examining about financial irregularities directed to western provincial Department of Education by various parties and issuing relevant reports.
• Taking actions related to losses of over 25,000 rupees.
